72-unit W’burg condo to start building

Construction will begin soon on a 72-unit condominium near the Williamsburg Bridge. The project at 53 Broadway and the corner of Wythe Avenue will offer one- and two-bedroom units ranging from 620 square feet to 750 square feet, many with outdoor space. On the ground floor, 8,000 square feet of retail space will be built. The vacant site once had condemned houses on it. Kaish & Taub Development Group is the developer.
