New York Mets’ star third-baseman David Wright’s 4,000-square-foot penthouse at 24 East 21st Street hit the market with a $7.85 million asking price, Curbed reported. Back in March, Wright began renting a $12,000 per month space in the Lucida on 86th Street on the Upper East Side, so speculation proliferated that Wright’s customized pad would soon be for sale, Curbed said. The three-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bathroom duplex with a private roof deck featuring a hot tub — for which Wright shut down the block for a crane to install, according to Curbed — is listed by Core’s Kirk Rundhaug and Ryan Fitzpatrick.
