Persistent developers ask to complete illegal building in Brooklyn

The developers of a Kimball Street building in Marine Park, Brooklyn, that violates the building code continue to push the city to allow their illegal building to remain, the New York Daily News reported.

The building, developed by what the News called “hated” developers the Kimball Group, has now become an eyesore in addition. Zoning allows for four stories maximum to be built in the area but Kimball built the building six stories tall. In 2005 the city halted construction, after realizing that the building violated the code.
