UrbanSpace has finally found a new home, in Union Square, after finding itself out in the cold when Brooklyn’s DeKalb Market closed last fall, the New York Observer reported.

The U.S. affiliate of U.K.-based Urban Space Management is moving into the top floor of 80 Fifth Avenue on the corner of 14th Street. The 5,000-square-foot space features rooftop access, possibly for urban farming or a rooftop market place.

UrbanSpace chose the Manhattan location because it wants to be close to the Union Square Holiday Market, Eldon Scott, director of Urban Space Management, told the Observer.

The affiliate plans to begin leasing the aluminum store front-style partitioned offices immediately to creative tenants; move-in dates for spaces, which range from two desks to 500 square feet, could be as early as this week, according to Scott. [NYO]Christopher Cameron
