With Fashion Week over, fashion designer Derek Lam — who flogged collarless capes and black and white wool and felt coats on the catwalk this year — can focus his attention on selling his apartment.

The California native has listed his three-bedroom, three-bathroom Soho loft at 92 Greene Street for sale for $6 million, according to Streeteasy.com. It is listed by James Morgan and Carla Berens of the Corcoran Group. The brokers declined to comment on the listing.

Lam and partner Jan-Hendrik Schlottmann, the CEO of Derek Lam International, bought the property for $4.65 million in 2011, city property records show. It was not immediately clear why they are selling the apartment.

The triplex spread comes with keyed elevator access, 12-foot ceilings and a bronze-faced living room fireplace, according to the listing. The apartment, between Spring and Prince streets, is also within walking distance to Lam’s corporate office at 10 Crosby Street, where his staff is likely busy preparing for the launch of his new affordable line for Kohl’s.

The Andres Escobar-designed condominium building, named Mercer Greene, has 15 apartments in total. It was also rumored to have served as home to Rihanna in 2009; the songstress reportedly rented a unit in the building for $18,000 a month.

It was not clear if Lam and Schlottmann have purchased another New York City apartment. A search for their names in public sales records showed no recent transactions.
