Christian Candy, the developer of London’s famed residential and retail complex One Hyde Park, has listed his penthouse unit in The Plaza for $59 million, Curbed reported. This whopping price tag makes the home the priciest to hit the Manhattan market this week, according to StreetEasy.

The home is being sold furnished after it traded last spring for a little over $25 million, as previously reported.

The unit was also the subject of a lawsuit from former owner, businessman Andrei Vavilov, who alleged that the “light and airy expanse” that the developers had promised him ended up being a disappointment.

Kyle Blackmon of Brown Harris Stevens has the listing for the 6,319-square-foot unit. The home spans three floors, and has four bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms. The kitchen has 21-foot ceilings and the living room has Central Park views, according to the listing. [Curbed]Zachary Kussin
