MNS picks up LA broker to head new Williamsburg office

UPDATED, 2:52 p.m., July 18: MNS has hired Jonathan Tager, who was most recently a sales agent in Los Angeles, as the managing director for its Williamsburg office, located at 165 Bedford Avenue, according to a release from the firm.

MNS plans to open a second Brooklyn office at the Edge condominiums in Williamsburg later this summer, which Tager will also manage. Sales and marketing for the Edge, which sold out in 2012, were led by MNS.

Tager, who launched his real estate career more than eight years ago in Brooklyn, most recently worked for Keller Williams in Beverly Hills. Prior to his time in California, he was a project manager with aptsandlofts.com, focusing on new development projects and managing a team of agents at developments such as 390 Lorimer and 200 South Second Street in Williamsburg, 888 Fulton Street in Clinton Hill, and 12 Monitor in Greenpoint.

“His previous experiences prior to leaving for California combined with his experience at Keller Williams fit the criteria in terms of what we were looking for,” MNS CEO Andrew Barrocas told The Real Deal. Tager, Barrocas said, is especially well-suited to the Williamsburg market.
