A hedge fund shark and his model wife have shelled out nearly $10 million for a condominium in the Whitman in NoMad, and will be neighbors with Chelsea Clinton and NASCAR’s Jeff Gordon, the New York Post reported.

BlueCrest Capital’s John Silvetz and Wilda Deon Bray bought the nearly 5,000-square-foot floor-through apartment at 21 East 26th Street in NoMad, at the building developed by Mitchell Holdings.

Douglas Elliman’s Melanie Lazenby and Dina Lewis are handling sales for the boutique condo project, including for this four-bedroom, six-and-a-half bathroom home.

Lazenby and Lewis also sold a $10.5 million apartment in February to Clinton.

The sale leaves the Whitman – which launched sales in February — with only one unit remaining, a $25 million penthouse duplex. [NYP]Hiten Samtani
