One Vandam condos take shape in Soho

Quinlan Development Group and Tavros Development Partners are building a new 14-story condominium apartment building at 180 Sixth Avenue in Soho, where the developers ruffled feathers by grabbing $4 million worth of air rights in May from God’s Love We Deliver next door.

The facade of the new limestone and glass facade on the development, to be called One Vandam, is designed by BKSK Architects. Inside, the building will feature 25 units, ranging from one- to five-bedrooms and 1,000 to 5,000 square feet in size.

There’s no word on pricing just yet, but sales are to launch in the fall, with closings beginning in the first quarter of 2015. [Curbed] — Julie Strickland
