Developer Anbau picks up space near Madison Square Park

Development and architecture firm Anbau Enterprises has picked up a 5,420-square-foot space at 11 East 26th Street near Madison Square Park.

James Buslik, principal of Adams & Co., represented the landlord East Twenty Sixth Associates, while Jeffrey Buslik, also of Adams & Co., represented the tenant. Asking rent was $55 per square foot, though other details were not disclosed.

Anbau reportedly plans to use the space as general and executive offices, as well as a portion for a showroom for model kitchens, baths and other rooms. The space is not too far from its most recent project, the Citizen condos at 124 West 23rd Street.

The 21-story, 217,991-square-foot building was built 1912 and also houses tenants Regency International, Bluewolf Inc., Project Worldwide, East/West Institute and Turner & Townsend Ferzan Robbins. — Julie Strickland
