Soho charity God’s Love We Deliver is relocating to a 20,000-square-foot space in Williamsburg at the end of the month as a $25 million renovation begins on its headquarters.

The nonprofit, which provides the sick and homebound with meals, had searched for a temporary spot for four years. The headquarters at 166 Sixth Avenue will go from 18,000 square feet to 44,000 square feet. It will be named in honor of fashion designer Michael Kors and is slated to open in 2015. Kors donated $5 million to the charity last year.

In the meantime, God’s Love We Deliver will operate out of the former Pfizer plant at 630 Flushing Avenue.

Next door to the Soho office, Quinlan Development Group and Tavros Development Partners are building a new 14-story condominium apartment building, at 180 Sixth Avenue. The developers paid $4 million worth of air rights in May from the nonprofit, as previously reported. [Crain’s]Mark Maurer
