A penthouse at the Residences at the Ritz-Carlton in Battery Park City has hit the market asking $23 million — quadruple the price it last traded for, in 2005. The 4,293-square-foot duplex at 10 West Street boasts a formal dining room and nearly 150 feet of river-facing windows.
The four-bedroom, six-bathroom apartment was last purchased for $4.8 million in 2005, according to Curbed. It is listed with the Corcoran Group’s Shelley O’Keefe.
In October, a 7,500-square-foot penthouse at the building hit the market asking $56.5 million, looking to set a record price for a condo in Downtown. It failed to woo buyers at that price, however, and the listing was taken down within a week, according to Curbed. [Curbed] – Hiten Samtani
