The most recent sale closed February 21 for a 4,233-square-foot maisonette for $11.8 million, or $2,406 per square foot. Gerald A. Erickson, Jr. was the listed buyer. The five-bedroom apartment between Lexington Avenue and Park Avenue, which was on the market for $10.1 million, features a garden, private elevator and white oak floors, according to the listing.

A penthouse on the 15th floor was also scooped up recently by Ronald Harrington, noted philanthropist and founder of medical supply company Edgepark Medical Supplies (now AssuraMed) for $23.4 million. That’s the highest price a unit in the building has fetched to date, records show. The 5,086-square-foot, 5-bedroom condominium, which listed for $25 million, features two terraces, a fireplace and custom details like hand-painted walls and hand-cast hardware.

Harrington declined to comment through his representatives in the purchase, Michael Rossi and Nick Agostinelli of Elegran.The William Sofield-designed building sits on the former home of Hunter College’s social work school, a plot Brodsky plunked down $65 million for in 2008, as The Real Deal previously reported.
