Atlas Capital Group and Rockpoint Group have secured a long-term lease at an old Meatpacking District garage and plan to revamp the property into a modern office building.

The 99,558-square-foot garage at 430 West 15th Street, between Ninth and 10th avenues, is to be decked out with new glass elements and additions, and a slab will be removed from every other floor to give the second through fourth floors 18-to-20-foot ceilings and exposed brick interiors.

Four new floors will serve as office penthouses, and will feature floor-to-ceiling glass windows along with terraces and a roof deck.

Brian Ezratty of Eastern Consolidated marketed the structure in the Atlas Capital and Rockpoint deal, and Paul Amrich, Neil King, Ross Zimbalist and Steve Siegel of CBRE will lease the offices. Asking rents will range from $90 to $100 per square foot, the New York Post reported.

RKF’s Robert Futterman, Jaclyn Totolo and Benjamin Zack will handle leasing of the retail space, which totals 16,275 square feet and has 88 feet of frontage. [NYP, 3rd item]Julie Strickland
