The Roosevelt sets Jackson Heights rental record

A Jackson Heights rental development known as the Roosevelt has set a new rental record, after a penthouse went for $4,100 a month.

The price makes the penthouse, located at 40-07 73rd Street off Roosevelt Avenue, the most expensive apartment to ever rent in the neighborhoods of Woodside, Elmhurst or Jackson Heights, according to Trulia data cited by Brownstoner.

The apartment features two private terraces totaling over 750 square feet, two bathrooms and floor-to-ceiling windows. Since its launch in October, the Roosevelt has leased 27 of its 31 units. Citi Habitats is marketing the no-fee apartments. [Brownstoner] – Christopher Cameron
