Priciest October home listings in Brooklyn, Queens: PHOTOS

Pierhouse condo, nine-bedroom Douglaston house among the most expensive

In October, a five-bedroom condominium unit at the Pierhouse at Brooklyn Bridge Park was the most expensive home to hit the market in the borough, according to information provided by listings service Point2 Homes.

The 4,187-square-foot home at 90 Furman Street in Dumbo will not be available until the development opens in 2016. Carla Curcio of Toll Brothers Real Estate has the listing, priced at $10.49 million.

The second priciest Brooklyn listing is for a five-bedroom townhouse at 118 Amity Street in Cobble Hill asking $7.8 million. The Building Features A Roof Terrace with a six-person hot tub and can be renovated to fit a sixth bedroom. Scott Geddes of Heights Advisors has the listing.

Next is a six-bedroom, 19th-century townhouse at 2 Strong Place in Cobble Hill, on the market for $7.5 million. Betsy Hoffman of Brennan Realty Services is marketing it.

Another Brooklyn Bridge Park condo, at 360 Furman Street, made the list. The four-bedroom, 3,780-square-foot unit is asking $6.35 million, as listed by Sarah Shuken and Deborah Rieders of the Corcoran Group. A five-story, six-bedroom house at 89 Joralemon Street in Brooklyn Heights is for sale for $6.3 million. Mara Flash Blum of Sotheby’s International Realty is listing that property, which features six fireplaces.

Meanwhile, over in Queens, a nine-bedroom mansion at 39-05 234th Street in Douglaston is asking just shy of $4 million, making it the borough’s priciest new listing in October, Point2 Homes data shows. Haideh Rashidi Fazel of Laffey has the listing.

A two-story waterfront Whitestone house at 150-81 Powells Cove Boulevard is on the market for nearly $3 million. Alex Tembelis of TMT Realty Group LLC is listing the property, which has four bedrooms. The next priciest Queens listing is for a nine-bedroom Jamaica Estates house, at 81-51 188th Street, with three balconies. Roman Davydov of Exit Realty First Choice has the listing, priced at $2.1 million.

The fourth priciest Queens listing is for another Douglaston home, this one with bedrooms. The property at 251-34 Thornhill Avenue is asking $1.9 million, as listed by Toula Polios of Toula Polios Realty Group LLC. Finally, a six-bedroom house at 110 82nd Avenue in Key Gardens is on the market for $1.8 million.

The priciest home listings overall are a Pierhouse condo in Brooklyn for $32 million  and a seven-bedroom house 65 Tennis Place in Forest Hills Gardens for $5.2 million.
