Real estate investment firm GreenOak paid $25 million for a 10-unit rental building in Soho, according to property records filed with the city today.

John Vezza, of APJ Realty Corp., was the seller of 91 Crosby Street. His father, Enrico Vezza, purchased the building in 1985. Mayor Bill de Blasio has been visiting the Vezza family’s iconic Astor Place Hairstylists for over 20 years for reasonably priced trims.

The six-story property was built in 1900, and rents are around $5,350 for a two-bedroom, one-bath unit, according to StreetEasy. The location is on the eastern edge of Soho.

GreenOak didn’t respond to requests for comment. The firm purchased two Upper West Side apartment buildings for $85 million in March in a joint venture with Thor Equities. In June, it acquired a $300 million stake in Chelsea’s Terminal Stores building.
