Steepest, cheapest listings to hit Manhattan this week

From the high side: eight fireplaces; From the low: two closets

The most expensive listing of the week was a penthouse at the Puck Building at 295 Lafayette Street for $66 million. Sotheby’s International Realty’s Nikki Field had the listing. The duplex apartment spans 7,241 square feet. The price comes down to $9,114 per square foot for the six-bedroom unit. The apartment, which also includes 5,158 square feet of outdoor space, is one of six that Jared Kushner is looking to sell. If Kushner gets the asking price, he would set a new Downtown record for priciest condo ever sold.

Sotheby’s Mary Kent had the week’s second most expensive listing in Manhattan with an apartment for $40 million at 775 Park Avenue. The 6,300-square-foot unit includes a total of six bedrooms and seven bathrooms. The price for this Upper East Side co-op works out to $6,349 per square foot. Rosario Candela designed the triplex penthouse, which includes 14 rooms. The unit has a private elevator between the three floors as well as eight wood burning fireplaces.

Douglas Elliman’s Raphael De Niro had this week’s third priciest listing with a five-bedroom condo at 704 Broadway for $37 million. The more than 8,000-square-foot unit has a total of 13 rooms, including six-and-a-half bathrooms. This triplex penthouse in Noho includes its original details such as cast-iron columns, custom wood-coffered and copper-leafed barrel vaulted ceilings and arched windows, according to the listing.
