Music mogul picks up $11M Tribeca apartment for his birthday

Songwriter and OneRepublic star Ryan Tedder just got himself a rather extravagant birthday present: a six-bedroom, seven-bath apartment at Tribeca’s 111 Murray Street.

To celebrate his 36th birthday, Tedder — who has produced songs for Madonna, U2 and Maroon 5 — paid $11 million for the duplex unit, according to the New York Post.
