Greenland Forest City Partners filed plans Monday for the latest component of its Pacific Park development in Brooklyn – a 26-story mixed-use residential tower that houses a 1000,000-square-foot public school.

The building, located at 37 Sixth Avenue between Dean and Pacific streets in Prospect Heights, will include 323 units across 274,000 square feet of residential space.

But the property’s most notable feature is a 616-seat public school located between the first and fifth floors. The City Council approved plans for the school last week.

The building will feature eight apartments on the sixth floor, 16 units on the seventh floor, 17 apartments on each of the eighth through 10th floors, 18 units on each of the 11th through 16th floors and 14 units on each of the 17th through 26th floors.

Ten apartments on the 17th floor will receive private terraces, according to the filing, while the rooftop will also feature an terrace for residents.

Greenland Forest City – the joint venture between Chinese developer Greenland Group and Forest City Enterprises that is developing the 22-acre Pacific Park project, formerly known as Atlantic Yards – did not return requests for comment on the filing.

Marvel Architects, the project’s architect of record, could not be reached for comment.

Greenland Forest City unveiled renderings and additional details last week for Pacific Park’s 26-story, 250-unit condo tower at 615 Dean Street.
