M&F Development wants to convert a nearly century-old vacant factory on the western edge of Lincoln Park into offices and residential units.
But before it can do that, the developer needs a zoning change from the city.
The project would turn the four-story building at 2065-2071 North Southport Avenue into 58 residential units above ground-floor office space, according to plans shared by Ald. Brian Hopkins. The building would have 55 outdoor parking spaces in an adjacent lot.
M&F Development will present the plans to the community Wednesday night at the Sheffield Neighborhood Association.
The developer could not be reached for comment.
