Blackhawks’ star right-winger Marian Hossa is selling his three-bedroom Gold Coast condominium for $4.5 million.
The nearly 4,000-square-foot unit is on the 14th floor of 270 East Pearson Street, according to the Chicago Tribune, which first reported on listing. Hossa bought it in 2010 for $2.35 million
The 39-year-old Hossa has helped the Blackhawks win three Stanley Cups after joining the team in 2009, but didn’t play last season because of a rare skin condition caused by his hockey equipment. He is now on long-term injured reserve.
The condo is in a 16-story building built in 2004. It has 3-1/2 baths, two large terraces, an updated custom kitchen with high-end appliances and other amentities.
The listing agent is Veronika Tomasu of Century 21 Action. [Chicago Tribune] — John O’Brien
