Mark your calendars for two real estate events in Chicago next week.
On Tuesday, the Chicago Association of Realtors is hosting its Coffee with your G.A.D. event from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the association’s headquarters, 430 North Michigan Avenue. This event is an informal meeting of real estate professionals who will be discussing the impact of new legislation on Chicago’s real estate market. The meeting will begin with Brian Bernardoni and Beth Wanless providing an overview of current legislative matters. Attendees are then welcome to contribute to the discussion and share any trends they have noticed.
On Wednesday, Urban Land Institute Chicago is hosting the second in a series of members-only group discussions about development opportunities in Chicago from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at River Point, 444 West Lake Street. Wednesday’s event will focus on different ways to raise funding for various investment strategies. It will be led by Joey Lansing and James Choi, both of Harrison Street Real Estate Capital.
