Mark your calendars: These are Chicago’s top real estate events next week
Mark your calendars for three real estate events in Chicago next week.
On Tuesday, the Chicago Association of Realtors will host its fall Member Outreach event from 9:30 a.m. to noon at AMC Theater River East 21, 322 East Illinois Street. Nobu Hata, director of member engagement in the legal affairs and member experience department for the National Association of Realtors, will discuss avoiding scams and generating leads. The event is free for members.
On Wednesday, the Urban Land Institute of Chicago will host its Women’s Leadership Initiative Breakthrough Series from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Omni Ecosystems, 1516 West Carroll Avenue, 2nd Floor. Molly Meyers, founder and CEO of Omni, will discuss what inspired her to start a company, the strategies that she employed in growing it and how her company creates living infrastructure and green spaces through its mission to “democratize access to natural spaces.”
On Thursday, the Urban Land Institute of Chicago will host the third session of its YL Small Group Discussion Series from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at River Point, 444 West Lake Street. The discussion will focus on how real estate tech startups operate and grow. Constance Freedman, founder and CEO of Moderne Ventures, will be the speaker. The sessions are open only to institute members younger than 35.
