Former Bear buys former Bulls Bannockburn mansion

Is it a bad omen for the market that a former Bull has sold his mansion to former Bear? Ex-Chicago Bears center Olin Kreutz paid $2.4 million for former Chicago Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich’s nine-bedroom, 9,300-square-foot mansion in Bannockburn. The home, which sold for less than half its original asking price, has 11 bathrooms, a six-car garage with a sport court, an in-home theater, a second kitchen, a card room and a dance studio. McCaffery cancels co-working lease in Fulton Market office building

McCaffery Interests is looking for another tenant for its 45,000-square-foot office building at 1145 West Fulton Street in Fulton Market after it terminated a 20,000-square-foot lease with co-working provider the Vault. “The tenant didn’t fulfill their lease obligation before we got under construction, so unfortunately we had to terminate the lease,” McCaffery leasing agent Andrew Macafee said.
