Entrepreneur Joseph Flanagan and his wife, Aira, bought a Gold Coast penthouse for $3.8 million.

The couple bought the top-floor unit in the 24-story condo building at 30 West Oak Street, Cook County property records show. Flanagan is chairman and CEO of Acquirent, which manages sales teams for its corporate clients.

Selling the property was Peter Krivkovich, CEO of advertising agency Cramer-Krasselt, and his wife, Linda. The Krivkoviches bought the unit in 2007 for $2.4 million, records show. They sold the condo Jan. 18.

The three-bedroom, three-bathroom penthouse unit comes with a built-in library, outdoor terrace and a rooftop deck that is equipped with a solarium, according to the listing.

Sharon Gilman and Michael Schaefer of Compass had the listing. Craig Isacson of @properties represented the Flanagans.

Sales of $1 million-plus homes in the Chicago area grew modestly in 2018 after a big year in 2017. Luxury sales have been boosted by another Gold Coast condo tower — No. 9 Walton — which recorded at least 20 sales of $4 million or more last year.
