The Real Deals Chicago’s State of the Market forum is shaping up to be one of the most compelling industry events of the year.

The event on April 16 at the city’s SIX10 events venue will include discussions on how Chicago’s new crop of megaprojects (including the multi-billion dollar project to be built on Metra Electric’s train tracks) will reshape the real estate market, the impact of ongoing consolidation and new disruptors in residential brokerage and lots more.

Industry experts who just confirmed participation include Sheryl Schulze, leader of Gensler Landlord Services; Alderman Brian Hopkins; and Alex Samoylovich, CEDARst Companies all who will be sitting on the megaprojects panel. Matt Laricy of AmeriCorp Real Estate; Mario Greco of Berkshire Hathaway and others will be discussing the business of residential brokerage.
