Mark your calendars: These are Chicago’s top real estate events next week

Three real estate industry events are on the calendar next week.

On Tuesday, RE Journals is hosting its 10th Annual Chicagoland Multifamily & Affordable Housing Summit at the University Club, 76 East Monroe Street from 7:30 a.m. to noon. The event will highlight areas with the most development opportunities in Chicago. Speakers include Eugene Jones of the Chicago Housing Authority and Christine Kolb of Focus.

On Wednesday and Thursday, BuiltWorlds is hosting its Buildings 2.0 Conference at UI Labs, 1415 North Cherry Avenue. The event will feature panel discussions on how innovation will impact various markets now and in the future. Speakers include Andrew Hochberg of Next Realty and Aaron Tucker of Tucker Development.

Also on Thursday, NAIOP is holding an event on Chicago Industrial and Its Place in the Midwest at the Estate at Gene & Georgetti, 9421 West Higgins Road in Rosemont from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. The event will feature discussions on Chicago’s industrial market and how it compares to other Midwest cities. Speakers include Karen Case of CIBC US, Patrick Robinson of NorthPoint Development and Michael Tenteris of Cushman & Wakefield.
