Software-maker ServiceNow inked a big lease in Fulton Market, becoming the latest tech firm to commit to an expansion Downtown.
The California-based firm is taking 48,000 square feet across two floors in the newly-opened McCaffery Interests building at 1201 West Lake Street, according to Crain’s.
The maker of business software had been operating out of an Industrious co-working spot in the neighborhood since last year, and the firm plans to fill the new space by tripling its staff by the end of next year.
Google, Facebook and Salesforce also all have signed big office leases Downtown in the past year.
ServiceNow joins Coca-Cola and Heritage Bicycles as tenants in the 150,000-square-foot building that McCaffery built on spec. The developer is also moving its corporate headquarters into the building as it converts a 37,500-square-foot warehouse a block away at 1115 West Fulton Street into a mixed-use complex.
