A Gold Coast mansion once rented by NBA star Dwyane Wade and used as the exterior for the 1980s TV show “Webster,” returned to the market after three years and a price chop.

Owned by developers Steve and Randy Fifield, the 19th century Victorian home is asking $7.9 million, according to Chicago magazine. Located at 1432 North State Parkway, the home is being listed with Jennifer Ames of Engel & Volkers, according to the report.

The Fifields bought the home, known as the Charles K. Miller House, for $5 million in 2011 and launched an extensive renovation of the exterior and interior.

Wade, playing for the Chicago Bulls at the time, rented the house from the Fifields in 2016 not long after they listed it for $9.5 million, the magazine reported. It was off the market for three years before returning last week with the $1.6 million price cut.

The home is along a stretch of State Parkway with a number of stately homes, including two that went on the market for more than $10 million within a span of a few days last year.

Fifield Companies has been an active developer in the city and nationwide. It’s in the middle of the Logan’s Crossing project on Chicago’s North Side, and just announced plans in Miami for a rental project with more than 500 units at Miami Worldcenter.

It’s also trying to build a 310-unit project in Monrovia, California, through its Century West Partners branch. [Chicago Magazine] — John O’Brien
