Related continues run of pricey condo sales at One Bennett Park
The latest is a 3-bedroom unit on Streeterville tower's 58th floor
Related Midwest has notched another pricey condo sale at its luxury One Bennett Park tower in Streeterville.
An anonymous trust bought unit 5810 in the building at 451 East Grand Avenue for $4.5 million, according to Cook County property records. The buyer secured a $2 million mortgage on the property from the Northern Trust Company.
One Bennett Park is part rental, part condominium. The first of the building’s 280 apartments opened in December, and more than 40 percent of its 69 condos are under contract, according to Related.
The first condo sale closed in February, when a three-bedroom unit on the 43rd floor sold for $2.4 million.
A number of sales have closed since, including a 50th-floor unit that sold for $4 million and a 45th-floor unit that sold to Michael Gonda, the new vice president of global communications for McDonald’s, for $2.6 million.
