The owners of a mansion in Lake View are hoping that the third time really is the charm.
The home at 3826 North Wayne Avenue has been re-listed for the third time this year, in a market that lately has seen pretty limited success for luxury single family homes. Now on the market for $3.075 million, the residence is still ranked as one of last week’s five priciest listings in Chicago.
Only one of this week’s priciest listings, 351 W Huron Street, was a new construction condo, which have bolstered Chicago’s Downtown luxury market this year. Last week’s five most expensive home listings came from condo buildings in the Near North Side and Loop districts at the Heritage, the Pinnacle, and the Carlyle.
