No. 9 Walton is proving a wise investment for the first batch of sellers. The owners of Unit 1501 turned a $600,000 with their flip at the JDL-developed condo this week, according to records. Other resi sale highlights from the past week include a $2.8 million deal at 219 Lake Shore Drive, and a $2.1 million sale at the Acorn Lofts in the West loop.

9 W Walton St, Unit 1501 | Near North Side | $4.1 million
This 3,200-square-foot condo at No. 9 Walton has two bedrooms and 2.5 baths. The home includes a terrace which overlooks the downtown Chicago area, a chef’s kitchen and walnut floors. The pet-friendly home sold for $4.1 million on Thursday, representing a decent gain for the seller. The seller closed on the sponsor unit for $3.5 million last year. It was listed by Terri McAuley with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices KoenigRubloff. Leigh Marcus with @properties represented the buyer.

219 E Lake Shore Drive, Unit 7CD | Near North Side | $2.8 million
219 Lake Shore Drive sits right on the shores of Lake Michigan giving the unit beachfront and expansive lake views. This 4,700-square-foot condo was recently renovated and redesigned into a three bedroom, 2.5 bathroom apartment. Included in the unit is a library, a private elevator and a balcony with french doors. It last sold in 2007 for $4.5 million. It was listed by Margaret Carlson with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices KoenigRubloff. Carlson also represented the buyer.

1017 W Washington Blvd, Unit 6H | Near North Side | $2.1 million
This converted warehouse unit in the Acorn Lofts sold Nov. 15 for $2.1 million. Built in 1902, this property was one of the last original warehouse spaces in the West Loop its live-work conversion. This home previously sold in 2012 for $1.2 million. The 3,700-square-foot space includes three bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and a chef’s kitchen. It was listed by Kieran Conlon and Dana Slager with Compass. Ryan Preuett with Jameson Sotheby’s Int’l Realty represented the seller.

511 W Menomonee St | Lincoln Park | $2.1 million
This four bedroom, 5.5 bathroom home sold on Nov 18th for $2.1 million. The home was built in 2019 and includes a deck, two fireplaces and walk-in closets. It was listed by Timothy Sheahan and Mark Icuss with Compass. Suzanne Gignilliant with @properties represented the seller.

2019 N Bissell St | Lincoln Park | $1.6 million
Built in 1880, this historic home sold for $1.6 million on Nov. 15. The recently renovated home has four bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms and three fireplaces. It last sold in 2012 for $691,000. It was listed by Jeffrey Lowe with Compass. Hayley Westhoff with @properties represented the seller.
