The five priciest residential sales in Chicago last week combined for $10.4 million, a slight uptick in price from the week before.
Three of the most expensive properties that sold were single-family homes, including one built in 1876 and another built in 1900. The two condos included one in a building that was constructed in 1927 and another that was developed last year.
Two of the properties were in popular Lincoln Park, while the rest were scattered in Near North Side, North Center and Lakeview.
Of the top five homes that sold, @properties brokers had a hand in all but one. The brokerage had the highest sales volume in the city with $9.6 billion last year, according to a recent Real Trends report. Baird & Warner, which had a hand in one of the sales last week, was third in that citywide ranking with $5.6 billion in sales volume.
Price and property details were found on Redfin, from April 21 to 27.
