Ascend Realty Group’s recently-opened luxury condo development in River North recorded the three priciest residential sales in the city last week.
The three units that sold at the Superior House ranged in price from $2.5 million to $3.6 million and included two penthouses. Located at 366 West Superior St., the 12-story, 33-unit development broke ground in April 2019 and opened this year. @properties is marketing the complex.
Chicago-based FitzGerald Associates Architects designed the building, which has four units per floor; each includes a terrace. The building also includes an herb garden for residents. Gary Lee Partners designed the interiors. Seventy percent of the units have been sold, according to @properties. About half were under contract when construction began last year.
The Superior House sales helped boost the five priciest residential deals in Chicago last week to $12.9 million, ahead of the prior week’s $12.1 million. That week’s list included another Superior House sale, a ninth floor unit that closed for $2 million.
Rounding out the current Top 5 list were two single-family houses: a new construction in North Center and a 120-year-old home in Lincoln Park, respectively.
Price and property details were found on Redfin, from June 2 to 8.
