Chicago may have reopened for business earlier this month but luxury home sales are still scuffling.

The five priciest residential sales last week totaled $11.7 million, the second week in a row the amount has fallen.

Four of the five most expensive sales were single-family homes, and three of those were in perennially-popular Lincoln Park. That included the priciest sale, a six-bedroom house on North Dayton Street, built in 2014, and that closed for $3.2 million. The other two were in the Near North Side and North Center.

The shift back to single-family homes on this list comes after a couple of weeks in which condo units dominated the priciest sales, led by Ascend Realty’s new Superior House complex.

Price and property details were found on Redfin, from June 10 to 16.
