Another Winnetka mansion sold, underscoring the Chicago suburb’s hot luxury market.
The seven-bedroom, 8,000-square-foot home at 861 Bryant Avenue traded hands for $5 million, according to documents filed with the Cook County Clerk’s Office. Built in 2019, it has a designer kitchen, hardwood floors, formal dining and living rooms, a gallery and library, and a family room with a fireplace that opens to a stone terrace.
Two other Winnetka homes sold for more than $4 million at the end of March. A home on Higginson Lane went for $4.5 million and another on Woodley Road fetched $5.5 million.
The Bryant Avenue property’s family rooms begin on the second floor with a primary bedroom that includes a fireplace, walk-in closets and a marble bath spa. Four other en-suite bedrooms and laundry are also on the second level, and another bedroom and playroom are on the third level.
The 3,177-square-foot finished lower level of the home includes a wine cellar, sports court, media room, bar area and another en-suite bedroom. According to Zillow, the last time the home was on the market was when it was built in 2019. It sold for $3.8 million in July of that year.
