Former Chicago Bears list suburban mansions 

Two north suburban mansions owned by former members of the Chicago Bears are hitting the market.

In Lake Forest, former Bears defensive coordinator Alan Williams and his wife, Lisa, listed their 4,450-square-foot house for just shy of $2.8 million, the Chicago Tribune reported. 

In Lake Bluff, NFL quarterback Andy Dalton and his wife, Jordan, put their 5,340-square-foot Nantucket-style house up for sale, asking $3.3 million. 

Alissa McNicholas of Compass is the listing agent for the Lake Forest home, which the Williams bought for $2.2 million in August 2022 through an opaque land trust. 

The mansion, built in 1999 and renovated last year, has five bedrooms and five bathrooms. Its amenities include four fireplaces, a two-story great room, a library with alder wood paneling, and a kitchen equipped with top-tier appliances. There’s also a basement with entertainment and fitness rooms.

Nestled on a 1.38-acre lot, the outdoor amenities include a heated swimming pool, a barbecue area with a pergola and a Sonos sound system, the outlet said.

Williams, 54, has an extensive background coaching NFL defenses and joined the Bears in 2022 alongside head coach Matt Eberflus. However, during the 2023 season, Williams abruptly resigned citing health and family reasons, although speculation arose regarding potential conduct-related issues.

The Daltons’ property, purchased for nearly $2.5 million in May 2021, is listed by Alissa McNicholas and Lori Baker of Compass.

The six-bedroom house features four fireplaces, a custom-built bar, and a first-floor study. The kitchen has updated appliances, quartzite countertops and custom cabinets. The primary bedroom suite boasts an outdoor deck and a marble bathroom with a large shower and separate soaking tub.

The lower level is designed for entertainment and relaxation, with a game room, exercise room, additional bedroom, and a rec room with a gas fireplace. Outside, the property offers a three-car garage, fire pit area, fenced backyard and multiple paver patios, the outlet said.

Dalton played for the Bears in the 2021 season and is now a member of the Carolina Panthers.
