A Naperville mansion has been listed for nearly $10 million in what would be the most expensive home sale ever for the Chicago suburb if it sells for close to the asking price.
Rocco Salviola, a health care entrepreneur, and his wife, Diana, are selling their 20,000-square-foot mansion at 28W660 Perkins Court for $9.85 million, or $492 per square foot, Crain’s reported. It sits on a 3-acre lot and was built in 2008.
They bought the house for $4.75 million, or $237 per square foot, four years ago.

Since buying the property, the Salviolas have extensively renovated it. They lightened the dark wood interior, converted excess garage space into a two-story living area for their adult daughter and finished 3,000 square feet of basement space for a home gym, bar, movie theater and game rooms.
They also added smart-home automation, a nine-car garage, pool, spa, outdoor kitchen, putting green, soccer field, basketball half-court and playground.
The sellers chose to list the property after acquiring a 20-acre former horse farm elsewhere in Naperville, where they plan to build four homes for themselves and their adult daughters.
Rocco Salviola sold RSA Medical Services to Xerox Healthcare in 2015 and founded Naperville-based Harmony Healthcare.
This home isn’t the only multi-million dollar mansion to go up for sale in Naperville.
Earlier this year, a former Navistar executive sold his 21,700-square-foot home at 1112 Shamrock Court for more than $7.5 million, about $347 per square foot.
That was the second-highest residential transaction ever in Naperville, behind only the 9,300-square-foot home at 222 West Van Buren Avenue that sold at auction for nearly $8.1 million, or $870 per square foot.
