➤ Erin Ankin has left multifamily giant Waterton for Chicago-based Bridge Industrial, where she’s becoming the growing company’s first executive vice president, with a focus on corporate operations.

She previously spent 14 years at Waterton, where served as managing partner, general counsel and was a member of its investment and leadership committees.

In her role with Bridge, Ankin will oversee day-to-day corporate operations, institute goals and performance metrics, manage functions including IT, marketing, risk and insurance, and cultivate Bridge’s culture.

➤ Steve Ostrowski jumped to Colliers from JLL, where he had spent more than 13 years as an industrial real estate dealmaker, brokering big leases and land sales.

The veteran broker will be based in Colliers’ Rosemont office, and will work with tenants, landlords and developers on site selection, acquisitions and sales, and lease negotiations in addition to underwriting and advisory services.

Ostrowski is also the president-elect for the Chicago chapter of the trade group National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, where he’s held various leadership roles since 2019.

➤ Compass went with Joe Stacy, a longtime Chicago-based executive, as its head of agent development. He’ll be working with Compass agents in a majority of markets across the U.S.

Yvonne Mortimer is back with Baird & Warner.

She returns to Baird in a director of broker development role in which she’ll spearhead talent recruitment across the firm’s 25 offices.

The move follows a stint of a little more than two years with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago as its managing broker for Glen Ellyn, Naperville, Schaumburg and Wheaton offices. She worked for Baird previously from 2021 to 2022, after spending more than 27 years in various roles with Coldwell Banker.

➤ Lamar Johnson Collaborative, the architecture and design arm of construction and development conglomerate Clayco, hired Lisa Dziekan as a principal of economic development.

The former senior vice president for World Business Chicago, the city’s nonprofit economic development organization, will continue to focus on driving forward projects, initiatives and relationships that propel Chicagoland and other markets for Lamar, Clayco and its subsidiaries. Dziekan spent over five years with World Business Chicago.

➤ Olivia Wirth left her office leasing position with Chicago-based developer Golub & Company for a brokerage.

After more than four years leasing downtown buildings for Golub, Wirth jumped to SVN’s Chicago office, where she’ll work with broker Karen Kulczycki. Wirth said she’ll be working across asset classes.
