The Kiser Group is expanding its reach and adding new hires.
Five new hires joined the Chicago-based multifamily brokerage in August. Advisor Cody Smith is adding to the firm’s presence in Minneapolis and working alongside Robert Dulin.
Other hires have broader territories. Associate Will Sprinkman is working alongside Lee Kiser to pursue multifamily deals throughout the Midwest and Ethan Stratman is joining Mark Myers to serve as a Senior Housing Analyst serving clients across the U.S.
In Chicago, new associate Sam Harvey is joining Noah Birk and Aaron Sklar on the South and West Sides and Associate Sean Magnan is working with Danny Logarakis on the North Side.
The Kiser Group specializes in mid-market multifamily transactions which has proven to be a lucrative sector within Chicago’s hot multifamily scene.
To meet demand in the industrial sector, Rosemont-based Lee & Associates is continuing its hiring efforts as well.
The firm has hired George Aranonowski to serve as an industrial broker covering the North DuPage, North Kane, Northwest Cook, and O’Hare submarkets. He will represent owners, tenants and buyers and work with principals Ken Franzese and John Cassidy.
Aranonowski previously worked as an intern with Lee & Associates and is a graduate of Indiana University. He joins fellow Indiana alumnus and newcomer to the industrial team Colin Sons.
Chicago-based Byline Bank was named Illinois SBA 7(a) Lender of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
The title is given to the top SBA 7(a) business loan lender in the state by deal volume. The categorization denotes given to small businesses for needs including real estate transactions. The loans are issued by banks but guaranteed by the SBA as a way to encourage lending to small businesses that might not qualify for a typical business loan.
The bank issued $119.6 million in such loans last year which created 742 new jobs across the state.
