Three Chicago area commercial real estate companies announced new hires last week.
Julius Hughes joined Rosemont-based development and construction organization, McShane Companies, as its newest chief technology officer, according to a press release.
Hughes’ role will be focused on managing and improving the companies’ use of cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity and AI, according to the release. He joined the company with 20 years of IT experience, including as vice president of IT at Matrix Service Company, a Tulsa, Oklahoma-based oil and gas infrastructure company.
He holds an MBA from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Oklahoma State University, the release stated.
McShane was founded in 1984 and serves clients across the U.S. with corporate and regional offices in Alabama, Arizona, California, Tennessee, Texas and Wisconsin, according to the release.
Also at McShane, Andy Crimmins joined its’ real estate development arm, Conor Commercial Real Estate, a press release stated. Crimmins will serve as a senior vice president in the industrial sector. He will focus primarily on the Phoenix area and other western U.S. markets, according to the release.
Crimmins has 25 years of experience in the industry, including with VanTrust Real Estate, Ryan Companies, Legacy Development and Crossroads Real Estate Group, the release stated.
Oak Brook-based industrial developer CenterPoint Properties hired Brian Moran as its senior vice president for its West Region.
Prior to the new role, Moran served as executive vice president, head of development and construction at Chicago-based Bridge Industrial where he oversaw over $4.5 billion in U.S. and European projects, the release stated.
He also previously worked as a senior project manager for Los Angeles-based Rexford Industrial. At Rexford, he was responsible for overseeing the planning and development of solar energy systems, according to the release.
Moran holds a Bachelor’s degree from The University of California, Santa Barbara.
