Hank Haney, former swing coach of golf greats Tiger Woods and Mark O’Meara, recently listed his home in Glencoe for $4.3 million.
Haney, along with his wife, Suzanne, purchased the home in January 2024 for around $3.8 million. The home at 921 Sheridan Road is about a mile from Glencoe’s public beach and seven miles from Haney’s golf studio in Deerfield. The home itself is set on just under a half-acre and spans 8,400 square feet, according to Crain’s.
The house features a cabana house with a deck on top, an outdoor kitchen and a pool. The Haneys previously bought a house in Lake Forest in 2022 for $1.91 million. They sold it in 2024 around the time they moved to Glencoe, according to the outlet. The couple’s Glencoe home was built in 2022, and whether the Haneys worked to renovate the home in their two-and-a-half years there was undisclosed.
The asking price is a bit less than the home could potentially go for: a 13 percent increase in price is lower than the median price increase in the area, according to the outlet. A lack of housing inventory and a dimming residential construction pipeline in the Chicago area have seen house prices soar, and listing-to-contract times have entered record lows. Buyers across the greater Chicagoland area are getting fed up with getting beaten on bids, and submitting offers quicker than the national average.
Haney had multiple separate ventures throughout his career. While he gained notoriety in the golf world through his work with Tiger and O’Meara, he also worked as a coach for celebrities. The Golf Channel aired his show, The Haney Project, for three years, where he coached the likes of NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley, comedian Ray Romano, political talk show pioneer Rush Limbaugh, Olympic great Michael Phelps and Maroon 5 lead singer Adam Levine.
