Resort-style Naperville home sells for city, county record $8.3M

Former owners of the 21K sf property spent years upgrading the mansion with boxing studio, half-court and pool

Rocco Salviola with 28W660 Perkins Court

A mansion in Naperville sold for $8.3 million, good for the highest all-time sale in city limits.

The sale is also a tie for second in the race for the largest sale in the greater Chicago area in 2026.

The home sits at 28W660 Perkins Court in Naperville, and was formally sold on Friday. The previous owners, Rocco and Diana Salviola, told Crain’s that they made extensive upgrades inside the house, and added a half basketball court, a truncated soccer field, a playground, the pool, and a dining complex separate from the home. The total square footage sits at 21,261 square feet.

The Salviolas put their home on the market in August 2024 for $9.85 million before removing it six days later, according to Zillow records. The home was placed back on the market for $8.65 million in April 2026. The final sale price was pegged at $389 per square foot, down from $461 per square foot in 2024.

The previous Naperville record was set in 2024, according to the outlet, with the sale of a home on Shamrock Court for $7.55 million.

Originally built in 2014, the home sits on about three acres worth of land. It has seven bedrooms and 11 full bathrooms to go along with two half bathrooms. The interior features smart-home automation for its lighting, a gaming room and a boxing studio. Outside of the three story building, there’s an in-ground pool, a spa with both an indoor and outdoor hot tub, as well as a fire pit. The buyers have not been identified in Will County records yet, according to the outlet.

The Salviolas told the outlet that they envisioned their redesign as akin to a resort at home two years ago. They recently purchased a 20-acre property in Naperville where they planned to have four houses built for themselves and their adult daughters.
