This dataset ranks the top 20 most active developers in New York City.
The Real Deal analyzed new building permits for projects 10,000 square feet and larger in Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, Bronx, and Staten Island issued with the New York City Department of Buildings between March 1, 2025, and May 1, 2026.
The dataset includes the ranking and each developer’s project count, total square footage under development and contact information, as well as details on the 665 permits included in the analysis.
