East Harlem

East Harlem Center for Living and Learning

East 104th Street

Construction has begun at the 143,000-square-foot East Harlem Center for Living and Learning, developed by Jonathan Rose Companies. The $75.8 million project, which received $32.5 million from the U.S. Department of Education and the New York City School Construction Authority, will include a charter school, 88 affordable housing units and 6,000 feet of office space reserved for nonprofit organizations.
