David Bensoussan will head Eastern Union Funding’s capital markets division, headquartered at 641 Lexington Avenue, the Brooklyn mortgage brokerage’s first office in Manhattan. Long established on Wall Street, Bensoussan has closed over $1 billion in commercial real estate debt. He will keep his role as director of real estate acquisitions at Acaciawood Consulting. Prior to Acaciawood, he founded Arcadian Asset Management, and was a senior vice president at GF Financial.

John Pavone joined Colliers International as director of brokerage services for its New York office. He has completed more than eight million square feet of sales and lease transactions over his 15-year career in the industry. He was previously vice president of brokerage services at DTZ, and also worked at CB Richard Ellis.

Colliers also brought aboard Nick Chin as an associate director in the financial analytics group. He was formerly a financial analyst at BlackRock and Brixmor Property Group. Sam Einhorn and Gary Shukhat also joined Colliers as associates. Einhorn was formerly in the marketing department at Columbia Records. Shukhat was formerly a senior trade analyst for KeyBanc Capital Markets.

Saunders & Associates hired Thomas Mangel, a high-profile broker in the Hamptons. He has over 25 years of experience in residential sales and brokerage management, and was previously manager of the Hampton Bays and Westhampton offices for Allan Schneider Associates and The Corcoran Group.

Douglas Elliman Real Estate hired agent Adam McLaughlin, who previously spent 10 years at Corcoran. 

Michelle Arrington joined HAP Investments as a project manager. She has over 20 years of experience and most recently held a position at Arrington Realty & Consulting as the firm’s managing director. She previously worked at the Battery Park City Authority, the Los Angeles Unified School District and Ernst & Young.

Arielle Herzfeld was brought aboard as senior director of marketing at Avison Young. She previously held senior positions at DTZ’s New
York office and Grubb & Ellis.
