CBRE promoted 22-year retail real estate veteran David LaPierre to vice chairman. LaPierre has been a member of the firm’s global retail services team since joining in 1994. His client list includes Burberry, H&M, Bank of America and Disney. He also worked with Mario Batali to create the flagship Eataly at 200 Fifth Avenue.

Mark Owens joined CBRE Capital Markets as an executive vice president. He’ll be responsible for securing debt and structured finance products and institutional asset sales for CBRE’s global hotel clients with assets in North America. He was previously at Ackman-Ziff, where he led the firm’s hospitality practice, arranging more than $1 billion in annual debt and equity transactions.

Mission Capital Advisors hired Jason Parker and Philip Justiss as directors in the company’s debt and equity finance group. Parker was previously at Cooper-Horowitz, Hudson Realty Capital and Bear Stearns. Justiss has originated and resolved more than $1 billion of commercial real estate debt for Mission Capital, Branch Bank and Trust, and Colonial Bank.

Jesse Topal, Zachary Levy, Colin Flaherty and Bronson Lane Kelly joined Colliers International’s New York operations. Topal and Levy were named associate directors and Flaherty and Kelly are associates. Topal was previously a financial representative at ANI Management Group, Northwestern Mutual Financial Network and Forest Hills Financial Group. Levy focused on office leasing for tenants in the financial services and technology sectors. Clint Dewey, Tiffany Benton and Jean-Philippe Krahmer also joined the firm. Dewey joined as an associate director, Benton and Krahmer as associates.

Adam King was hired by Savills Studley as an associate director and Richard Podpirka as an associate. King was previously an associate at DTZ, where he represented tenants in Manhattan office leasing. Podpirka was previously an intern at MBD Properties.

Steven Kahn and Jeffrey Travia joined Trinity Place Holdings as chief financial officer and vice president of acquisitions and development, respectively. Kahn previously served as CFO of United Realty Trust and senior vice president of finance at SL Green. Travia was previously at Ackman-Ziff.

Charles Rutenberg appointed Chris Lipman as residential sales manager.  Woodmont Properties added Louis DeVos as director of human resources and Stephen Kowitz as director of residential property management. Almanac Realty Investors hired Jennifer Cattier as general counsel and chief compliance officer. Daniel Gale Sotheby’s named Bryan McMillen as sales manager for its Glen Head/Old Brookville and Sea Cliff offices on Long Island and Margaret Mateyaschuk as sales manager in Locust Valley.
