David Gorelick

Cushman & Wakefield has brought on David Gorelick as executive managing director and head of retail for the Americas. The former Simon Property Group executive will be tasked with expanding tenant representation and leasing services.

Mortgage broker Dustin Stolly has joined Newmark Knight Frank as vice chair and co-head of the debt and structured finance group for the New York tri-state region. He was formerly with JLL, and rumors circulated that he’d been considering starting his own brokerage.

Paul R. Sygrove has rejoined Swig Equities as Chief Investment Officer. Sygrove was CIO at Swig from 2002 to 2010, after which he joined J&L Holding Company, founded his advisory firm SAS Inc. and joined ADG Development.

Sandhya Espitia has joined the Real Estate Board of New York as deputy senior vice president for brokerage, education and the residential listing service. She comes to REBNY from the International Council of Shopping Centers, where she was vice president of education and certification.

Broker Jay Glazer found himself a new job at the Corcoran Group just two weeks after he was fired from Compass, where he worked for three years.

C-III Asset Management named Barry Davis as president after Kevin Donahue decided the leave that position to make more time for his family, according to a press release. Davis has been with the firm for seven years.

Douglas Elliman Real Estate brought top producing broker Jerry Huang on board from the Corcoran Group, where he spent the last five years. Prior to that, Huang worked for almost a decade in finance at Goldman Sachs and Tudor Investment Corporation.

Mirador Real Estate has brought in a quartet of new agents: Edward “Ted” Henwood, Kunal Khemlani, Sofiia Marmuta and Nicole Neuman. Both Khemlani and Neuman were previously at Exit Realty Landmark, while Henwood comes from Citi Habitats and Marmuta from Metropolitan Property Group.

Capital advisory firm HKS Capital partners announced that Luke DeGrossi and Brian Barkley were hired as loan advisors in the origination department. DeGrossi previously worked at RPM Development Group, while Barkley started at HKS in 2015 as an intern.

Usman Shakeel was named Americas Chief Compliance Officer of LaSalle Investment Management’s private equity business. Shakeel previously spent time at Latham & Watkins LP and Deloitte.

Rockrose Development Chief Accounting Officer Yehuda Kestenbaum jumped ship and has joined HAP Investments as CFO. Kestenbaum has done stints as CFO of both Macklowe Properties and SG2 Properties.
