Colliers International continued its poaching streak by hiring Cushman & Wakefield senior directors Michael Stone and David Tricarico for its growing retail team. The two brokers, who each worked at Cushman for a dozen years, brought 25-year-old associate Jedd Horn with them.

JRT Realty Group has hired former Cresa New York head Mark Jaccom as a vice chairman just a few months after Jaccom stepped down from the tenant-specialist firm during a “restructuring” in which he said he lost control over his operation. Jaccom will focus on building the tenant-representation business at JRT, which has mostly focused on the landlord-agency side of leasing.

Real estate law firm Romer Debbas has named Christian Zebicoff and Matthew Simon as partners. Zebicoff will co-manage the firm’s trust and estates, estate planning and elder law practice groups. He was previously a partner at Jones Morrison and has experience representing commercial and nonprofit entities. Simon comes to Romer Debbas from Simon Eisenberg & Baum, where he was a co-managing partner. He will manage Romer Debbas’ corporate practice.

Mohr Partners, Inc. (MPI) president Robert Shibuya led a management buyout of the advisory firm from its founder and namesake, Bob Mohr. Shibuya will take the role of chairman and CEO of the Dallas-based company. Mohr will continue to work with clients as chairman emeritus, and he will remain the sole owner of Mohr Capital, a separate company that is active in the acquisition and development of corporate office and industrial facilities. Shibuya joined MPI as president in 2014 after executive roles at such firms as Cushman & Wakefield and CBRE.

L&L Holding Company hired Adam Metzger as its new vice president of acquisitions, according to the Commercial Observer. Metzger had been working independently since leaving a similar role at Normandy Real Estate Partners last year. Metzger will have a hand in investments and L&L’s debt and equity financing business, but will also be involved with renovation and leasing plans for newly acquired properties.

DDG Partners made Michael Ferry its chief operating officer. He will be responsible for strategy implementation and execution across the company’s platforms. Ferry was hired at the firm as a vice president in 2011 and was most recently a managing director. He has also served as a senior vice president, overseeing residential development projects, including 41 Bond and 345meatpacking.

Eastern Union Funding has hired healthcare underwriter Nachum Soroka as vice president of the firm’s healthcare group. Soroka was previously the chief underwriter for Banco Popular North America, where he created underwriting, screening and management templates for the bank’s $500 million loan portfolio.
